Reduced availability of public transit in high-density areas owing to rising prices is one example of how population, urban activity, and land use may impact transportation options. At the moment, research on the relationship between current urban patterns and shifting travel habits is taking a back seat to efforts to enhance public transit systems. This research aims to fill this gap in an ecologically vulnerable area of South 24 Parganas by conducting a primary survey and using the Structural Equation Model to restore the association in two pilot study locations of the region. We need to figure out what's really driving urbanization in India and other developing nations. Issues of culture, politics, economics, and demographics all play a part.
