Abstract

Mughal Islamic architecture stands as a significant achievement in the history of Islamic art and engineering, distinguished by its meticulous precision, intricate ornamentation, and advanced construction techniques. This study examines the influence of Mughal architecture on civil structures in the East, focusing on the transmission of decorative and structural elements across cultures. By analyzing Mughal architectural models and comparing them with Eastern architectural styles, the research highlights a substantial cultural and artistic exchange that contributed to shaping the architectural identity of various regions. The findings reveal that Mughal architectural principles have left a lasting imprint on palaces, mosques, and civil buildings, showcasing a profound cultural integration among diverse civilizations (Asher, 1992; Koch, 2002).
