Through protagonist, Isha, and her daughters Bantwal reshaping the world and highlights the struggles of women countenance in society that belittle female children. This research take account of key themes, the role of children the intersection of motherhood and resistance, revolting against patriarchal norms. It also analyses the symbolic significance of children especially Anika, the younger daughter, bringing change in protagonist character with new hope and transformation. Bantwal highlights the social issues surrounding female infanticide, gender discrimination, and the challenges faced by woman as a mother under societal norms. The portrayal of female children serves idea of being victim and symbol of resistance. This paper explores the role and portrayal of children in the novel. By employing character development, narrative techniques, and cultural critique, the study expresses social reform and problems related to females as a gender and further expands on the importance of education in shaping the lives of women and dismantling prejudices.
