This paper examines the relationship between rapid population growth and increasing cybersecurity incidents in Karnataka, emphasizing political and e-governance challenges. Drawing upon official data from the Census of India, NCRB Crime in India 2023, and Karnataka Police reports, it analyses how demographic expansion and institutional constraints interact to produce security vulnerabilities in digital governance. The study integrates government projections, cybercrime data, and policy assessments to offer practical recommendations for strengthening cyber-resilience in Karnataka.
