Abstract:    Academic performance in higher education is shaped by a complex interplay of psychological, behavioural, and socio-environmental factors. This conceptual study aims to develop a theoretical framework that explains how academic resilience, emotional intelligence, and perceived stress contribute to students' academic success, with coping strategies (including problem-solving, emotion regulation, and time management) and self-efficacy serving as mediating variables, and social support (encompassing peer networks, family involvement, and mentorship) and institutional support,( including counselling services and academic resources), support acting as a moderating influence. The study is based entirely on a review of secondary data, including peer-reviewed journal articles, educational reports, and empirical research conducted in both Indian and international contexts.  By synthesizing key findings from the literature, this paper presents an integrated model that highlights the dynamic relationships among these variables and their collective impact on academic outcomes. The analysis underscores the complex interplay between personal, interpersonal, and institutional factors in shaping student success. The proposed framework offers valuable insights for researchers, educators, and policymakers striving to enhance student performance in tertiary education.
