India's National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 changes the education system. It focuses on better quality through reforms in teacher training and class methods. Teachers stand as the main players in education. NEP 2020 sees them as drivers of change. They turn policy goals into real student results. The policy calls for teachers who are ready, skilled, thoughtful, and ethical. These teachers meet students' varied academic, social, and emotional needs in a fast-changing world. NEP 2020 centers on fixing teacher training programs. It pushes for broad knowledge, clear ideas, and hands-on skills. New four-year programs blend subjects, teaching methods, and research from the start. The policy pushes ongoing growth through training, guidance, and reviews based on work. This builds lifelong learning for teachers. It urges them to think deeply and try new ideas. So, they can match new teaching ways and class changes. For class practices, NEP 2020 shifts from memorizing and tests to student-focused, hands-on, skill-based learning. Teachers should use flexible plans to build critical thought, creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. The policy stresses teaching all students. It covers those from different backgrounds in money, culture, and language. It includes students with disabilities. Teachers use varied lessons and ongoing checks. They make helpful spaces that fit each student's style and skills. NEP 2020 ties in technology well. This affects teacher training and classes. Digital tools, online sites, and mixed learning boost reach, interest, and quality. Teachers gain skills for fun lessons, good use of resources, and new ways to check learning. Tech aids teacher training, teamwork, and sharing knowledge across places. It looks at how changes shape teaching styles, tests, and student focus. The policy can raise teachers' roles, boost school checks, and spark new ideas in schools and colleges. Yet, it notes hurdles like teacher readiness, buildings, supplies, and skill growth. NEP 2020 goals need good plans, strong leaders, and steady school help. Teachers must be ready. They need constant skill boosts and solid rules. Linking training changes to new class ways can lift education's quality, fairness, and fit in India. This aids the country's growth in society and economy.
