Abstract:  As artificial intelligence (AI) changes many industries, its effect on education has led to important discussions about the benefits and challenges of robot teachers. This research paper looks at how AI robots as teachers are changing compared to human teachers. It pays special attention to how they teach, the feelings involved, the moral issues, and the cultural aspects of education. This study looks closely at whether robot teachers can replace or help human teachers provide good education in different learning settings.

The paper includes examples from around the world and India, such as EVA (Educational Virtual Assistant) in Chennai, Shalu the robot teacher in Mangalore, AI learning platforms like BYJU'S and DIKSHA, and RoboGuru in schools in Pune. This helps to give a clearer understanding of the topic. The research shows that robotic systems can work more efficiently and can be easily expanded, especially in places where there are not enough teachers and resources are limited. It also checks important areas where current AI systems have big weaknesses, like understanding emotions, making ethical choices, adjusting to different cultures, and providing moral guidance.

Using a qualitative method, the study looks at classroom observations, interviews with teachers and developers, and teaching literature to compare how robots and human teachers help students learn in different ways. It points out that robot teachers can do a good job of providing organized lessons, checking how students are doing, and handling big amounts of information. However, they are not good at connecting with students emotionally and socially, which is something only human teachers can do well.

In the end, the research suggests a mix of teaching styles that combines the effectiveness of AI with the care, creativity, and understanding that human teachers bring. The study highlights that the future of education should not focus on replacing teachers with machines. Instead, it should use technology to help teachers be more effective. This helps the conversation about using AI in education responsibly and gives suggestions for adopting it in a way that includes everyone, respects different cultures, and is good for teaching.
